Montage Palmetto Bluff - Bluffton, South Carolina
When my husband and I were looking for somewhere to go to celebrate our 28th anniversary, I immediately thought of Montage Palmetto Bluff in South Carolina’s Lowcountry. A lot of my fellow travel advisors have stayed here and all of them were overwhelmingly positive about the resort and endorsed it as the perfect place for a romantic getaway. Unfortunately my favorite restaurant in Savannah, The Grey, was also closed during this visit. Instead we headed to the rooft

Amelia Island, Florida

Amelia Island has a 1000 year history having been originally settled by Native Americans. The island has seen eight flags flown over it since the Europeans arrived in the late 1500s: French, Spanish, British, Floridian/Patriot, Green Cross, Mexican, Confederate, and American. There are a numbe
